  • £14.49

Sea Holly by Rachel Coopey is a beautiful cabled hat using Baa Ram Ewe's lovely Pip Colourwork. Named after the British wildflower Sea Holly whose Tall blue-green flowers and sharp angular features give it a distinctive appearance. Fun fact: Sea Holly isn't related to the red-berried holly common to Christmas decorations - its actually part of the carrot family!

The kit consists of the pattern and 3 balls of Pip Colourwork as per the pattern image (2 balls of Bramley Baths for the hat and 1 ball of Rose Window for the contrasting pom pom). The yarn is presented in an attractive Baa Ram Ewe tube.

Suggested needle sizes (dependent on your gauge): 2.5mm circular needle, 32"/40cm long or 2.5mm set of five double-pointed needles and 2.75mm circular needle, 32"/40cm long or 2.75mm set of five double-pointed needles. If using 40cm circulars, you'll need double pointed needles or magic loop method with a longer circular for shaping the crown. You can find our needles here.

You'll also need a cable stitch needle and a stitch marker.

There are lots of colours to choose from in Pip Colourwork and Pip Naturals so if you want to choose your own, the pattern and yarn can be purchased separately.
