Saturday 3rd November: Next Steps Crochet Course - Fingerless Mitts.
SATURDAY 3rd November 2018 10am - 3pm
Come and spend the day with Janet Friel learning how to crochet in the round and increase and decrease to get the perfect fit.
The class will be useful for gaining confidence reading a pattern. Make the basic mitten pattern your own by learning different ways to edge and embellish it.
Class sizes are small to ensure that Janet can give you plenty of attention.
Crochet hooks to use on the day will be provided, as will tea, coffee and cake/biscuits. Please bring a packed lunch or there are plenty of nearby shops/cafes.
Attendees of the course will receive a 10% discount in the shop on the day.
Skills required: Basic crochet skills i.e. making a starting chain, knowledge of double crochet stitch.
Equipment required: 50g of DK (double knit) weight yarn of your choice. You can buy it on from the shop on the day with your 10% course discount if you like. If you have your own crochet hooks then you are welcome to bring them.
Homework prior to the course: None
Next Step: After this course you may feel ready to tackle another one of Janet's Intermediate Crochet Classes, such as the snowflake bunting course, or perhaps you would like to try your hand at our Knitting Courses.
