SATURDAY 25th January 2020 10am - 3pm
Come and learn how to knit fair isle in the round with Mary Henderson, well known fair isle expert and designer, to get you started on your stranded colourwork journey. Class sizes are small to ensure that Mary can give you plenty of attention.
Yarn and needles to use on the day will be provided, as will tea, coffee and cake/biscuits. You will need to provide your own lunch so either bring a packed lunch or a visit to the nearby shops/cafes is well worth it.
Skills required: Attendees should be able to cast on/off and do knit/purl stitches. Experience of knitting in the round is a plus but not essential.
Equipment required: Provided on the day but feel free to bring your own DPNs or circular needles.
Homework prior to the course: None
Next Step: We are planning on running a steeking class in February 2020. Date TBC
Please note that we need a minimum of 2 attendees in order to run the course.
We are unable to offer refunds for cancellations with less than 2 week's notice. This is in order to give us a chance to fill the space. If you cancel at less than 2 week's notice and we are able to fill your space, we can offer you a transfer to the next available course date.
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a course due to illness or such like, we will inform you at the earliest opportunity and either refund you or transfer you to the next available course date, depending on your preference.
