Next Steps Crochet Course - Fingerless Mitts Saturday 9th November.
Come and spend the day with Janet Friel learning how to crochet in the round and increase and decrease to get the perfect fit.
The class will be useful for gaining confidence reading a pattern. Make the basic mitten pattern your own by learning different ways to edge and embellish it.
Class sizes are small to ensure that Janet can give you plenty of attention.
We will provide tea, coffee and cake/biscuits. Please bring a packed lunch or there are plenty of nearby shops/cafes.
Skills required: Basic crochet skills i.e. making a starting chain, knowledge of double crochet stitch.
Equipment required: 50g of DK (double knit) weight yarn of your choice and crochet hooks, at least a size 4mm but it would be helpful to bring along a size up and size down incase you want to experiment with tension. You can buy them from the shop on the day with your 10% course discount if you like.
Homework prior to the course: None
A few T's & C's:
