Marmalade Yarns is changing hands!

Posted by Nicky Jerrome on

Changes are afoot at Marmalade Yarns. After 9 years running the shop, Catriona and Maxine have decided to move on to pastures new and I am extremely delighted to be taking over such a lovely business!

As of this week, Catriona and I will be running the shop together for a few months and I will be assuming full ownership in September. We'll be busy updating the website, introducing some exciting new ranges and having all the yarny fun together! We are planning a Launch Party on 15th September and there will be one or two *very* special guests (details to follow!).

Speaking of yarny fun, we hope you can join us, alongside many other local independent businesses, this Saturday 23rd June for the St Catherine's Summer Pop-Up. We'll have fairisle expert, Mary Henderson, with some of her knitted accessories and cushions, local artist and resident crochet queen, Janet Friel, and books from famed knitting technique enabler, Jen Arnall-Culliford. I can't wait to see what other shops and business are getting up to!
